Commerce Lab is currently a concept, not a finished application. It is planned as a desktop ecommerce workspace that can run standalone or optionally connect directly to supported ecommerce stores through their APIs.
A Reddit user named mercanator suggested exploring AI automation for ecommerce and pointed to existing ecommerce automation work as inspiration.
Commerce Lab turns that suggestion into a free desktop application concept combining product listing tools, store cleanup, automation, optional AI, and optional direct ecommerce integrations.

The same idea applies to store connections: Commerce Lab does not require a store API to work. Users can run it standalone, while Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce, and other supported API integrations can provide direct store access when desired.
Commerce Lab is one of Bow's Potter Service project concepts. The goal is to create useful tools that can remain free to use.

The project should still do something valuable without a paid model connected.

Direct store connections are optional. Manual entry, imports, review tools, and exports remain available without them.
