Choose standalone or connected mode
Use Commerce Lab by itself with manual entry/imports, or connect a supported ecommerce store through its API.
Commerce Lab is planned as a desktop application that works independently. Direct ecommerce connections are optional and use supported store APIs when users want live access to their products and store data.

Standalone users can enter or import product data. Connected users can load supported products directly from their ecommerce store.
The seller decides whether to improve a title, description, keywords, SEO text, categories, or promotional content.
Use built-in rules, templates, optional local AI, or a user-supplied AI API to help improve listings and run automation workflows.
Standalone users can copy or export results. Connected users can send supported updates back to their store through the store API, subject to that platform's permissions and capabilities.
When a supported store is connected, Commerce Lab could read product data, run improvements or automation, and write supported changes back through that platform's API.
